Weighted Directed Graph-Based Authorization Delegation Model
نویسنده
چکیده
In this paper, a new authorization delegation model is proposed, which is based on weighted directed graph to present the trust relationship between the entities and the existing issues, such as the evaluation of the trust and the presentation of the trust among the entities are addressed in simple and visual way. The model and the corresponding algorithm of the compliance checking is analyzed and proved to be correct and efficient. Detailed description and theoretical analysis show the proposed scheme is effective to provide security authorization in

A Representation Model of Trust Relationships with Delegation Extensions
Logic languages establish a formal framework to solve authorization and delegation conflicts. However, we consider that a visual representation is necessary since graphs are more expressive and understandable than logic languages. In this paper, and after overviewing previous works using logic languages, we present a proposal for graph representation of authorization and delegation statements. ...
متن کاملGraphical Representation of Authorization Policies for Weighted Credentials
This paper elaborates on a solution to represent authorization and delegation in a graphical way, allowing users to better interpret delegation relationships. We make use of Weighted Trust Graph (WTG) as an instrument to represent delegation and authorization, extending it to cope with more complicated concepts, and providing a graphical representation of the level of confidence that exists bet...
متن کاملRB-GDM: A Role-Based Grid Delegation Model
Grid delegation is the procedure by which a valid user endows another user or a program or service with the ability to act on that user’s behalf. Delegation is the primary form of authorization in grids. The large and geographically distributed, dynamic, heterogeneous and scalable grid environment poses unique delegation requirements. Presently there are no standard mechanisms to guide grid del...
متن کاملComparison of graph - search algorithms for authorizationveri cation in
We describe and compare several algorithms for authorization decisions from a database of certiicates. The algorithms are based on well-known graph-search techniques that we enhance to handle joint-delegation certiicates. Experiments on generated certiicate data were done to compare the eeciency of the algorithms.
متن کاملAttribute Delegation Based on Ontologies and Context Information
This paper presents a model for delegation based on partial orders, proposing the subclass relation in OWL as a way to represent the partial orders. Delegation and authorization decisions are made based on the context. In order to interact with the context, we define the Type of a credential as a way to introduce extra information regarding context constraints. When reasoning about delegation a...
